100th DEVIATION

I can barely believe I finally hit my 100th deviation (scraps not included) 8DD
It's been a long, slow path filled with plenty of unexpected twists and turns but also filled with plenty of surprises

3 and half years ago, on October 25th 2005, I created this secondary gallery to house a theme I find fascinating since early age, but felt like it was very badly portrayed and appreciated. Since then I've met amazing people who shared the same interest and helped expand my view of the world by leaps and bounds
I have no way to express how important you are to me and how much it helps to know you're there. To you I dedicate this work, work I wish I had more time to work on to properly show you my true appreciation

To close these 100 works and to open all the others that will hopefully come in the future I give you the same characters that were the reason I opened this gallery, Toby and Chris, along with the rest of the main cast from the story that evolved since then
For those who aren't familiar these characters are part of a story called Sudden Growth, inspired on the same image. The old, unfinished story can still be found somewhere in the depths of the Shrinkingman forum, but it's no longer the same as the current version

I'll take the occasion to officially announce that this story will be written again and this time taken to a full conclusion
As for when, it is still unsure. The foundations are being revamped and the 2nd story being planned. Without either fully established the writing of the 1st story can't take place

As for the characters presented here:
- the large guy is Toby and the main character of the story. He used to be a normal person of normal size until an unfortunate event made him several times larger
- the one standing on his shoulder is his best friend Chris and another main character. He's the one who helps Toby getting out of his predicament despite all odds
- the one leaning on Toby's leg is Daniel, a friend of Chris. He's the one who, despite being dragged into this situation, is willing to do his best to help his friends
- the woman and the men in the corner are Sandra and Philip, 2 of the several scientists involved in the reason that caused Toby to grow like that. Neither of them have evil intentions nor are to blame for the series of events
- the man in the shadows is a new character that doesn't show is face but is closely tied to the string of events. He's not part of the first version of the story and I'm not going to give away his role in it >3
